Livestock Farming Dominance – Uruguay has historically been a cattle ranching country. Of the total agricultural land, 75% is used for livestock farming.  

Global Export Rankings - Uruguay has managed to carve out a name for itself in the international markets. The country ranks as the 8th largest global exporter of beef, a testament to its robust cattle industry. Additionally, Uruguay stands as the 6th largest global exporter of soybeans and the 8th largest exporter of rice, demonstrating its diverse agricultural capabilities.

Forestry's Economic Share - Forestry also forms an integral part of Uruguay's economy, contributing 3.5% of the country's GDP.
