Breeding supply calves to The Land Group’s Uruguayan portfolio.
Property Overview
About the Property
La Victoria is a 4,800-hectare property we have operated since 2018 in the Department of Paysandú, north-western Uruguay. The farm is crossed by National Road 26 and has two sets of cattle management facilities (chute, pen, corral, and cattle dock). There, we have developed an extensive breeding operation to supply calves to the fattening units we built at our other farms to reduce our sourcing risk and increase the resilience of our grass-fed beef business. This breeding unit is complemented by a 1,500-hectare forestry operation developed with Forestal Oriental (UPM).
